Crown Football Round-Up (28/10/2019)

Congratulations to Chelsea youngster Henry Lawrence, who has signed his first professional contract with the club. Henry made 21 appearances throughout the 2018/19 season as his versatility in midfield and defence proved particularly useful to Andy Myers's side. He found the net three times, most notably to secure a last-minute victory at Brighton in October. He also made his Under-19s debut in the UEFA Youth League against Monaco.

Stephy Mavididi scored his first goal for FCO Dijon in Ligue 1 last week. Stephy scored the only goal of the game as Dijon beat Strasbourg. Watch the goal below:

Ben Sheaf made it onto the score sheet for Doncaster Rovers last weekend. Ben scored the first goal of his senior career in Rovers' huge 7-1 win over Southend United. Watch the fantastic goal below:

Jak McCourt also helped Macclesfield Town to a win in their match against Oldham Athletic.

Macclesfield struggled to find a breakthrough until the 85th minute when Jak hit a stunning free kick. The returning midfielder smashed the ball into the Oldham net from the edge of the box to the delight of the travelling Silkmen.

Sam Gallagher also his first league goals of the season for Blackburn Rovers this weekend. Sam had given Rovers a dream start on the road before making it 2-0 soon after that put Rovers in command at the break.
