Preston North End goalkeeper Chris Maxwell has signed a loan deal with Charlton Athletic until the end of the season. Speaking of his new acquisition between the sticks, the Addicks boss said: "He’s a very good goalie. We’ve had some great reports back from people and obviously seen him play for ourselves. After a successful 6-month loan with Crewe Alexandra, Corey Whelan has now returned to the Liverpool U23 squad. Corey made 18 appearances for Crewe Alex between the end of last August and first week of January. Although the loan was not extended, manager David Artell says the defender ‘has been terrific’.

Cole Stockton has joined Wrexham AFC on loan until the end of the season. Cole said "I am delighted to sign.
