Crown Football Round-Up (07/09/2018)

This week, Ryan Leonard signed a loan deal with Millwall from Sheffield United - a move that will become a permanent transfer in January. And Millwall will pay what is a club-record, undisclosed fee for them for the midfielder. Ryan made a total of 17 appearances in all competitions for Sheffield United, including four this season.

Speaking of Ryan, Millwall manager Neil Harris said "He's a very talented player. He is very much your modern day player. He's athletic, has a great mentality, and is a winner. Ryan's a really good lad."

Ryan will have to wait until after the international break to make his Millwall debut, but he is eager to make an impact amongst his new team-mates. He told millwallfc.co.uk “I'm very happy to be here and looking forward to getting the Millwall shirt on and getting going with playing games.”

Congratulations Ryan and good luck for the season!
