What a great week it’s been for Connor Kirby. The Young Owls midfielder made his professional debut for Sheffield Wednesday’s senior team during their 3-0 win over Reading at Hillsborough. Connor replaced Frederico Venancio with 13 minutes left. The 19-year old said: “It was the best moment of my life so far! It’s a thrill to play in front of so many fans and I hope to get many more chances. The manager kept telling me to get warm so I had a feeling I might come on, so I was prepared for when it happened. Brilliant news this week, as Plymouth Argyle’s Ryan Edwards has been given the all clear after his recent diagnosis with testicular cancer! We can’t wait to see Edwards back and dominating the pitch! “Come pre-season, July 1st, I’ll definitely be ready for that. Even in the Championship! As the main focus over the past couple of weeks have been International fixtures, let's take a look at our clients who received a call up to represent their country! Corey Whelan featured in two games for Ireland last week. A 96th minute goal from Shaun Donnellan gave Ireland a crucial win in their European U21 Championship Qualifying Round match in Tallaght Stadium against Azerbaijan. Corey was instrumental across the back four, helping the team keep a clean sheet and luckily they nicked a goal in the final moments of the game.
