Birmingham have signed Southampton striker Sam Gallagher on a season-long loan deal. Sky Sports News reported on Monday that a deal had been struck to take the 21-year-old to St Andrew’s for the Championship campaign. And Gallagher has since passed a medical and signed on, becoming Blues’ eighth signing during the current transfer window. Preston North End have completed the signing of Arsenal forward Stephy Mavididi on a season long loan.
