Matt Jay, has come through the ranks of Exeter City Academy and has made 22 appearances for the Grecians in the 2017/18 season. He netted his first league goal for the club in a 3-2 win away at Cambridge United.
Matt was handed his first-team debut in a Football League Trophy tie against Wycombe in September 2013. He would go on to make a further two appearances that season and another three the following campaign.
The striker has had two successful loan spells at Hayes & Yeading and Truro City. He scored his first goal for City in the EFL Trophy in August 2016 as he fired home a first-time shot against Oxford United.
Matt got his 2018/19 pre-season campaign for Exeter City off to a great start, scoring 3 goals in 3 games for The Grecians. Matt managed to find the net four times in the 2018/19 campaign - three of which were contenders for goal of the season.
