JAMES RICHARDSON
James Richardson is hugely popular broadcaster whose work continues to span European Football’s best quality leagues. Amongst football fans, James is perhaps best known for presenting ‘Football Italia’ - Channel 4’s iconic coverage of Italian football.
He spent 10 high calorie years roaming the peninsula, covering what was then the world’s most glamorous football league.
Currently working for BT Sport and the Premier League, James has also hosted a range of other programmes – from World’s Strongest Man to The Great Model Railway Challenge.
In 2006, James co-founded the Guardian’s hugely successful ‘Football Weekly’ podcast which he hosted until 2017, when he left to launch the award winning ‘Totally Football Show’.
James is a keen student of cinema and languages, and can speak Italian, Portuguese and Spanish and a little Japanese, and plays ice hockey very badly.
