ON LOAN FROM ARSENAL
Defender / Midfielder
Cultured central midfielder Ben has continued to impress following his arrival from West Ham's academy in 2014. Having helped Arsenal Under-19s win the Durban International Tournament, finishing as top goalscorer and player of the tournament, the Dartford-born playmaker established himself as an important player for the under-21s. Blessed with an abundance of natural talent, Ben made 22 appearances under Steve Gatting last year, scoring twice. Although naturally suited to a central role, the England youth international has demonstrated his versatility and was utilised at right back on a number of occasions due to his crossing ability and tough tackling. Ben is now seen as one of the best young central defenders at the club and in October 2017 he made his debut for the first team, in their Europa League clash against Red Star Belgrade.
In July 2019 it was announced that Ben signed a season-long loan with League One side Doncaster Rovers.
