Adam spent his early years at Blackburn Rover's academy before moving to Liverpool Football Club. Adam had a bright start at the Reds, which included highlights of joining the first team at 16 years of age and making his senior debut against Roma, coming on as a substitute for Phillipe Coutinho.
Adam moved to Norwich City in the summer of 2017, after spending 10 years at LFC. Phillips has already cemented his position in the U23s and he has been given the captains armband for the 2017/18 season. Adam has also had his first call up to the first team, where he joined the Championship team on the road to a league fixture at Brentford at the age of 19. Adam joined League Two side, Cambridge United, on loan in the January transfer window, until the end of the season, in order to get more competitive football under his belt.
