Adam Lewis is a versatile left-sided player who is equally comfortable at the back or in midfield. A graduate of Rainhill High School, Adam has been at the Academy since U6 level. Lewis is now part of Steven Gerrard's XI for the U18's and has already contributed with a goal in the UEFA Youth Champions League game against Spartak Moscow in September. In December 2017, Adam signed his first professional contract with Liverpool and has been praised by Gerrard as one of the best attacking left backs. He said; “Going forward, I haven't seen anyone as good as him at that age in terms of quality and what he can deliver in the final third.”
Adam made his debut for the England U19 squad in March 2018 and was included in Paul Simpson's 20-man squad for the U19 European Championship tournament in Finland.
In February 2019 Adam signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool. Adam made his debut for the Liverpool first team during their pre-season in July 2019.
